Data Protection

At initiation, completion, execution and rescission of contracts, MEININGER VERLAG GmbH collects, stores and processes data, taking into account the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act. 

The personal information that customers provide to MEININGER VERLAG GmbH when making an order or via e-mail (form of address, name, address, birth date, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, bank details and credit card number) will be treated confidentially in accordance with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act and used only for the purpose for which the data was provided by the customer. 

MEININGER VERLAG GmbH discloses such data only to companies involved in the course of processing the order. For the settlement of payments, the customer's payment data is passed on to the bank responsible for making the payment. 

MEININGER VERLAG GmbH will furthermore make use of customers’ data for its own advertising purposes. 

MEININGER VERLAG GmbH otherwise gives assurance that personal data will not be disclosed to third parties unless MEININGER VERLAG GmbH should be legally obliged to do so, or the ordering party has expressly consented to such. 

Personal data given to MEININGER VERLAG GmbH through our Web site will only be stored until the purpose has been fulfilled for which MEININGER VERLAG GmbH was informed of it. If fixed periods of time under business or tax law have to be complied with, the duration some data is stored may amount to ten years.

1. Recording of hits via Google Analytics
