Dear Forum Vini fans,

Exciting weeks lie behind us all: The pandemic continues to dominate our daily lives and is certainly making itself felt in your daily routine. Since February this year we have been working flat out towards the meeting place for winegrowers & wine lovers, the 36th Forum Vini.

Forum Vini. The Bavarian cabinet has decided and announced that the fair can be resumed on 01.09.2020. The corresponding guidelines, i.e. the protection and hygiene concept of the Free State of Bavaria for the resumption of trade fairs and congresses, were also adopted.

After careful consideration of the guidelines and weighing up the risk of possibly disappointing you as a participant, we have decided to pause the Forum Vini this year.

In our capacity as exhibition organizers, publishers and tasting experts, we stand for the highest quality and seriousness. However, at this point in time, the requirements of the authorities would force us to take a number of measures that would not let everyone go home happy. We do not want to jeopardize your trust in us at this point, but will develop alternative event formats and concepts with which we will contact you shortly.

We hope you understand our decision and would be very happy to see you again in spring 2021 - we will keep you informed!

FAQs to the FORUM VINI 2020

What is included in the stand fee?

Flat rates per unit encompass the following costs:

  • Stand fee for three days
  • Construction of stand walls (back and side walls, 2.0 - 2.5 metres high, white)
  • Entry in the list of exhibitors
  • Power Supply (max. 1 kW)
  • Energy costs
  • Cleaning of corridors and final cleaning
  • Disposal of empties
  • Free exhibitor passes
  • Tickets for customers free of charge
  • Marketing activities (Advertising the event, Advertising material for the exhibitor)
Do I have to pay VAT as an exhibitor from abroad?

Thanks to the amendment of the German Sales Tax legislation (UStG) of 1 January 2011, under certain circumstances, exhibitors from outside Germany will be entitled to receive invoices free of VAT (currently 19 %). Therefore please indicate your VAT Identification Number on the registration form (for enterprises with their registered office within the EU).

How is the glass washing service organised and how much does it cost?

The following costs shall be charged in addition to the rent for the flat-rate charge for glass service. At charge of € 95 plus German VAT, each exhibitor will be supplied with two racks of rental universal glasses. The exhibitor will receive 2 racks of universal glasses unique per day at the booth. These glasses will only be picked up and washed every evening after the show. Furthermore each visitor is given the official wine-tasting glass at the entrance (= universal glass) for a deposit. The visitor could exchange the glass at the exhibitors‘ stand for a clean universal glass only if required. Additional needed glasses (universal or special glasses) can be ordered subject to charge.

Where can I park my car at the MOC?

Permanent parking pass:
You can hire permanent parking spots in the underground car park directly under the MOC for EUR 10 including VAT per day. Please take a ticket, when you enter the underground car park; this will be replaced by the permanent parking pass, when you leave at the first floor exit. 
Day ticket: day tickets (EUR 10 including VAT) are available at the parking vending machines.
There is no need to pre-book tickets. The maximum vehicle entrance height is 2.2 metres (7.2 feet). 
HGV: Public parking spaces for vehicles of a height more than 2.2 metres are located in Domagkstrasse for example. 

Is there a registration deadline for FORUM VINI?

Official registration for FORUM VINI ends on 15 September. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend an early booking of your stand space with regard to the positioning as well as to the ideal preparation and promotion of your participation.

When do I have to order everything I need for my trade fair participation?

In general, all orders should be made at least until 15 September, particularly because some companies might have bottle-necks or difficulties  in delivery. In addition, some companies charge an extra fee for orders on short notice.

Which companies are DEFINITELY NOT business partners of the organiser?

Every now and then, companies, which offer online data bases, send offers with reference to FORUM VINI, which have nothing to do with us. Some of our exhibitors – not only FORUM VINI exhibitors – have had problems, especially with the company Construct Data Verlag GmbH, Vösendorf/Austria and their “fair guide” (, with the Expo-Guide of the company Commercial Online Manuals S de RL de CV / Mexico ( and company MDS Messebau und Service GmbH ( We strongly recommend paying attention to the fine print and the costs mentioned. Where is the next underground station? How long does it take to get from the city center to the MOC?

The MOC Events Center is close to the underground station Kieferngarten, 15 minutes from Marienplatz with underground line U6. It is a five minute walk from the station to the MOC. Please find all timetables and fares at

Can I store my exhibits on site?

For deliveries out of the construction times or while you are absent, you can use the services of the MOC partner (with costs). Please use the file mobile cranes and lifting vehicles.
